Box, the company that offers cloud storage to both desktop and mobile users, has just announced it will offer 50GB of free cloud storage to all Android phone users.

After Dropbox unveiled partnerships with LG, HTC and Sony, Box, a rival company decided to make the same offer available for free to all those who own Android phones other than these three aforementioned.

Starting today and through Friday, March 23, 2012, Android users who want to take advantage of this offer will only have to download the application via Android Market.

If they already have it installed they simply need to log-in and update it to claim the free 50GB cloud storage account upgrade.

Box is now available as a free download in the Android Market and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
