Cloud service Box for iPhone and iPad has received an update today bringing new features and improvements, including the ability to add and manage collaborators in folders and enhanced support for international text formats, just to name a few.

Box rivals Dropbox and Google Drive, as well as Microsoft’s OneDrive and even Apple’s iCloud in some aspects. But there’s no shortage of Box users, even with so many options laying around. And since it offers 10GB of free storage to anyone who is willing to sign up for the service, it’s really not that surprising.

The iOS Box client has been promoted to version 3.1.0. It offers the new ability to add and manage collaborators in folders and an option to return to the last viewed file or folder if the app is closed. Support for international text formats has been improved, and the same goes for offline video viewing.

The usual bag of fixes is included with this update, and the app now offers Turkish and Polish language support for the first time. These two are added to a huge list of already-supported languages, including English, Arabic, Bokmål, Norwegian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, and a dozen others.

Compatibility-wise, the app requires iOS 6.0 or later and will work with most iDevices currently in circulation today.
