Former glamour girl Jenny McCarthy is just another one of the many female celebrities to be more cautious about Botox after a rather unpleasant experience with it: the jabs made her drool uncontrollably, she says.

In a recent interview, the star admits to having a very “close” relationship with Botox, saying she hates it but needs it at the same time, in what is a vicious circle-type of situation.

However, it wasn’t until she had a bad experience with it that she realized she was overdoing it: more specifically, a botched jab left her drooling uncontrollably for moths, she says in an interview cited by The Orange County Register’s In Your Face.

This hasn’t stopped her from getting Botox altogether, though, but rather taught her to be more careful about the doctor she sees for it.

“I had a weird incident where a plastic surgeon put it in my chin… and I had to go to a talk show. It was completely frozen. I had drool coming down the sides of my face. I’m not kidding,” the 37-year-old star reveals in the aforementioned interview.

“I have a weird relationship with that substance. I love it and hate that I need it,” the star admits in the same interview.

Other stars to speak out against Botox include reality star Kim Kardashian, who recently vouched she wouldn’t get more jabs until she’s 40 (she just turned 30 this week) after being left with bruised eyes.

Sofia Vergara (38) of “Modern Family” has also promised never to have Botox or plastic surgery done, saying these procedures create “monsters” because they make women look up to 15 years younger but, at the same time, unnatural as well.

“Some women overdo it: Their body looks 20, but their face looks horrible. You need a little fat in your face,” the actress said a few days ago, as we also reported.

“So they fill their face with [rubbish], and then they look like monsters. Who do you think you’re fooling? We know those aren’t your lips. I don’t want plastic surgery or fillers or Botox,” Sofia added.
