The Fire Department in the suburban Boston area of Revere have confirmed via Facebook that they have helped with the search for a “person of interest” in yesterday's marathon bombings.

According to the New Haven Register, some 20 FBI, state department and local police teams were on site.

While it's rather obvious that authorities believe that they have found a lead in the case, they are not looking for a suspect at said location.

The search was over by 2 a.m. today, and the results of the inquiry have not been made public as of yet.

"Deputy Chief, Engine 5, Ladder 1, Cataldo Paramedics & Chief were called in for Operational standby for State Police Bomb Techs for search of a 'person of interest' apartment at 364 Ocean Ave. FBI, ATF, ICE, Boston PD, Revere PD as well as MSP detectives and Bomb Techs from Boston PD and State," Fire Department reps wrote on Facebook.
