14 DAY TRIAL // Runners in the Boston Marathon are defending the woman that dressed up as a victim of the bombing this Halloween.
Alicia Ann Lynch put on bloody running clothes and wore makeup to resemble bruises and cuts. She has experienced the wrath of internet users since, getting countless threats and insults and being fired as a result.
BuzzFeed writes that her family has been threatened after their telephone numbers and addresses have been published online.
Some runners do not agree in bullying a person who has apologized and who has had a lapse in judgment.
“As someone who ran the marathon, I know that violent, angry responses are exactly what fueled the bombings to begin with,” Hannah wrote.
However, I have checked out her Twitter account, and her words defending Lynch have also gotten her in trouble.
She received messages in which someone expressed wishing that Hannah and her family lost their legs in the bombing.
