14 DAY TRIAL // A video of people rummaging through boxes of branded merchandise after the Boston Marathon has caused an uproar on YouTube, where it has been watched nearly half-a-million times.
The clip has been submitted on Reddit by Rocker13666, and 900 users have already commented on it.
“Post Boston Marathon bombing looters stealing marathon jackets,while others are just feet away critically injured,” the uploader describes.
Surely, some of these people have the right to take products home, having run in the race, but many get away with more than one shirt or jacket, and some are dressed in office ware.
BuzzFeed reports that two Marathon medals have already been put up for sale as of Monday, as well as several other T-shirts, in what some are calling an attempt to profit off the bombing tragedy.
