14 DAY TRIAL // In light of the recent attacks during the Boston Marathon and several complaints by fans, basketball team the Boston Bombers have decided to get a different name.
According to News Talk ZB, the Bombers will now be known as the Boston Bulldogs. They are a semi-pro, women's basketball team representing the city of Boston.
Their logo, which at this time seems terribly inappropriate, is posted above. As you can see, the logo comes complete with a drawing of a bomb about to explode.
Nike has also been forced to drop an item of clothing, a line of T-shirts marked “Boston massacre.”
As I wrote yesterday, the shirts were reminiscent of two serious of successful New York Yankee seasons, in which they beat the Boston Red Sox.
