If not, he has to pay up to 1.5 million euros

What we do know about Boris Becker is that he was truly a phenomenal player and a great tennis champion.

But that`s about all there is to know when it comes to his qualities. Not that everything else is bad, but you have to admit that, besides tennis, Becker did not have a great deal of luck in other aspects of his life.

Take for example what he managed to achieve after his long-lasting carrier in tennis. He got divorced shortly after he stopped playing tennis, he admitted he got a Russian model pregnant and he put all his money in little economic projects without any future that turned out to be a waste of money.

And that`s not all. He now sits and waits to see how the trial in which he`s being accused of not paying 1.5 million euros to the German Sports Federation turns out. In 2001, the German champ signed a contract with the German Federation, in which his firm was to build a new official site on the Internet. He insured it for over 1.5 million euros. After the project failed - nothing new for Becker here - he refused to pay the money to the Federation.

Now, more that 5 years after the incident, Becker is still waiting for the Court decision, but he feels confident that everything will turn out ok. His lawyers were more than optimistic earlier this week, assuring the media that Becker is not at all concerned about having to pay the 1.5 million euros. In fact, they said that the German can`t wait for the whole thing to end.
