After its announcement less than an hour ago, 2K Games has just revealed the first gameplay video and screenshots of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the next iteration in the first-person shooter series.

Borderlands 1 and 2 amazed tens of millions of gamers worldwide across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms and now publisher 2K Games, together with developers Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, is getting ready to debut Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, a new title set between the two already-launched games.

After sharing the first details about the new story, the new characters, and the fresh setting of the game, 2K has just rolled out a set of screenshots from the new Borderlands.

In them, you can see some of the new classes in action, such as the Enforcer or the Lawbringer, not to mention the Gladiator and the Fragtrap.

What's more, a special video has also appeared online, showing off plenty of actual gameplay footage from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, as well as commentary from two of its developers, Randy Pitchford, the president of Gearbox Software, and Tony Lawrence, the general manager of 2K Australia.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will debut for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 this fall, so expect to hear much more soon enough.
