Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has just received a brand new video, this time focusing on the creation process of the game and how franchise founder Gearbox Software started working with 2K Australia on the project.

Borderlands 1 and 2 came out from Gearbox Software and were published by 2K Games on a variety of platforms. They amassed millions of fans worldwide and now the two companies want to bring forth another experience, in the form of the Pre-Sequel.

The title, as its name suggests, takes place between 1 and 2, and offers a new setting as well as a refined experience from an all-new studio, namely 2K Australia.

In the first episode in the Making Of video series, 2K Games shows how Gearbox and 2K Australia started working together and how both teams are flexing their creative muscles to make sure that The Pre-Sequel lives up to the standards already seen in the series.

In the future chapters of the web series, 2K will detail the all-new moon environment, as well as the characters, weapons, and other improvements introduced by the Pre-Sequel to the Borderlands formula.

The actual game is set to debut this fall for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
