Gearbox Software has just released the launch trailer for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, showing that the explosive action inside the game can even wreck your house if you're not paying attention.

The bundle includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, together with all the DLC packs released for both titles, and marks the popular series' debut on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 home consoles.

The bundle also comes with some new content for the series' fans to enjoy, and enables them to transfer their old-gen saves to the PS4 and Xbox One, among members of the same family, in order to make a smooth transition and not lose any of their hard-earned progress.

In addition to making the jump to next-gen, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection introduces four-player split-screen multiplayer action, enabling four friends to share the same couch while adventuring on Pandora and its moon.

The first-person shooter / role-playing game hybrid is famous for its unique sense of humor, and the compilation's launch trailer does it justice, showing a ton of people enjoying its over-the-top action while trying not to get hit by various projectiles jumping out of their TV screens.

The definitive Borderlands experience

The Handsome Collection offers the complete story of Handsome Jack, the franchise's most iconic character, the villain that everyone loves to hate, and will deliver the ultimate Borderlands experience.

Players will be able to step into the shoes of the eight base characters from the two video games, as well as the extra characters released as DLC, including Krieg the Psycho and Gaige the Mechromancer, and in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, they will be able to play as one of Jack's doppelgangers.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is slated for release tomorrow, March 24, in North America, and is coming to the rest of the world on March 27.

The game requires around 30 GB of free space on your hard drive, so you would do well to prepare in time for its release.
