Borderlands 2 hasn't received its final add-on with Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, as Gearbox Software President Randy Pitchford has confirmed that more content is coming for the popular first-person shooter.

Borderlands 2 came out back in September and developer Gearbox Software has kept on releasing lots of different content for the game, including four story-based expansions, in the form of Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, and the most recent Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

Besides these add-ons, lots of DLC included new playable characters, like the Mechromancer or the Psycho, and new personalization items.

Now, after hearing a rumor about the upcoming Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition, Gearbox Software President Randy Pitchford has confirmed in a recent podcast with Nerdist that more content is coming.

"We did a Season Pass for Borderlands 2, and the season pass was like hey if you buy the season pass we would be doing four campaign add-ons and you can buy all four of them for the price of three, if you buy upfront. So everyone was under the expectations that those would be the four DLC’s and that’s it," he said.

"We are going to do more, we are going to do some other things. I don’t have details exactly of it yet cause were not ready to announce what the other things are, but when the next campaign DLC comes Assault On Dragon Keep not being the end of it. We got more stuff in the hopper that we’re planning and getting pretty excited about. So if you're a Borderlands 2 fan you don’t have to be afraid that that’s the end of it."

A new adventure was hinted at the end of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, while the end of Borderlands 2's regular story left the door open for way more sequels.
