Borderlands 2 is set to receive its sixth playable character next week, in the form of the Psycho Bandit called Krieg and, in order to detail his unique abilities, developer Gearbox and publisher 2K have released a launch trailer.

Borderlands 2 initially had four heroes, in the form of the Siren, Commando, Gunzerker, and Assassin. Soon after its launch, a fifth hero joined the pack – the Mechromancer.

Now, a sixth vault hunter will soon appear on the game's planet of Pandora, in the form of Krieg the Psycho Bandit.

The new hero has just received a launch gameplay video showing off plenty of footage with him in action, as well as his special Buzz Axe Rampage action skill and his three different skill trees.

What's more, the new video, available above, also features some footage from the upcoming fourth DLC for Borderlands 2 – Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

Krieg is out for Borderlands 2 on May 14 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 for $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points. Season Pass owners won't get it for free as it's not included in the bundle.
