Borderlands 2 is now out in North America and there are two more days to wait until Friday, when Europeans also get access to it, and the development team at Gearbox is celebrating the occasion by putting out a new launch trailer for the game.

The trailer is clearly intended to attract more players to the franchise as it features a lot of over-the-top action and a solid demonstration of the big role that guns play in Borderlands 2.

Borderlands 2 will give players a whole new range of character classes to choose from and will then task them with once again exploring Pandora. At the same time they will have to fight a new villain called handsome Jack, who is planning to use his Hyperion Corporation to turn the planet into an industrial wasteland.

Borderlands 2 is well suited for four-player cooperative play and gamers can get access to it on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC.
