After confirming that work on Borderlands 2 has ended while the one on its post-launch DLC has just begun, Gearbox Software has now posted a set of fresh screenshots from the stylized shooter.
Borderlands 2 is out in September and already the studio has sent it to certification, which means that it's free to start working on the downloadable content that will be released after the game's actual launch, like the Mechromancer
In order to drum up even more hype, the developer has posted a new batch of screenshots
, showing off some of the main protagonists, including Axton the Commando
, as well as the array of guns and monsters that you'll encounter throughout the story.
Borderlands 2 will be a much tighter package, according to the developer, who hopes to deliver a more complex shooter than the original game.
The role-playing shooter is out on September 18, in North America, and September 21, in Europe.
