The development team at Gearbox and the hardware makers at Nvidia have joined forces to launch a new trailer for the upcoming Borderlands 2 in order to show how the game will use the new PhysX capabilities of the GeForce GTX family of hardware.

The two companies have already announced that all those who purchase a new GTX card will be able to get a free copy of Borderlands 2, which means that Gearbox has introduced quite a bit of content that takes advantage of the unique capabilities of the Nvidia cards.

Nvidia is keen to show off the abilities of its new hardware and convince gamers that an upgrade is a good idea and Borderlands 2 makes for a solid marketing vehicle because of its high octane action gameplay.

Borderlands 2 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and will be available on September 18 in North America and on September 21 in Europe.
