The developers at Gearbox are quite excited with this edition and give details on what players are to expect from the game. The project offers gamers numerous add-ons like "Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty Campaign," "Mr. Torque’s Campaign of Carnage Campaign," and many others.

Also, other Premiere Club Content is available, containing "Gearbox Gun Pack," "Golden Key," "Vault Hunter’s Relic," as well as "Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack." Besides these, new interesting gadgets are up for use, like the "Contraband Sky Rocket Grenade."

2K Games and Gearbox have partnered with the teams at PlayStation, Turtle Beach, NVIDIA, and BradyGames and are giving quite a large number of prizes, on a weekly basis.

Fans have the possibility to win the grand prize of $50.000 / €36.881 of cold hard cash. Those interested can find a full list of prizes on the official website.

By completing in-game objectives, players will be able to get unique and interesting drops, as well as have the chance to try out even more powerful bajillion weapons on Pandora.

In case some players do not have Internet access or simply cannot play Borderlands 2, the developers have announced that U.S. gamers can enter the sweepstakes by mailing to a particular address.

Although the loot kicks off on October 11, users can still check out any details by signing up on the sweepstakes website.

Another thing to wait for is the downloadable content of Borderlands 2, "T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest," arriving later this month.
