Today, mobile phone carrier Boost Mobile has officially announced the upcoming availability of LG’s Venice on its network, with the Optimus 3.0 interface loaded on it.

The handset packs a 4.3-inch screen, along with a 1GHz application processor inside, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in 720p resolution.

There is also a front camera for making video calls, as well as the features and capabilities of Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to take advantage of.

The new LG Venice is expected to become available for purchase at Boost Mobile on October 10th, featuring a price tag of $219.99 on the $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plans.

The smartphone is only 7.62mm thin and weighs 125 grams. It also sports a platinum finish on the rear and sides, as well as Gorilla Glass protection on its screen.
