We already reported earlier this month on Samsung’s plans to launch one of more devices at Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

It’s been almost two weeks since the first rumors emerged and Boost Mobile has just announced the upcoming availability of two new Samsung handsets, the Galaxy Rush and Array.

According to Boost Mobile, Samsung Galaxy Rush will be available for purchase later next month at the carrier’s exclusive retail stores, select independent wireless dealer locations nationwide, select national retail locations and online, for only $149.99 USD/120 EUR (excluding taxes)

Samsung Array has an exact release date, which is set for September 4. Customers can purchase the phone for $59.99 USD/45 EUR (excluding taxes). It is also worth mentioning that Boost Mobile offers free shipping for both Samsung handsets.

Keep in mind that while the Galaxy Rush is a budget-friendly Android smartphone, the Samsung Array is a simple messaging phone.

The former is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and sports a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

Samsung Galaxy Rush also packs a mediocre 3-megapixel camera on the back, which features video recording, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for self-portraits and video calls.

Those who don’t need a smartphone for everyday use can try out the Samsung Array messaging phone. The handset comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which turns the phone into the perfect tool for texters.

In addition, the feature-phone sports a sub-par 2-megapixel photo snapper and a small 2.4-inch standard LCD display. Web browser support is included as well, along with microSD card slot for memory expansion.

It appears that Samsung will also be available on Boost Mobile’s $45 Talk & Text Unlimited Plan with Shrinking Payments, or at least that’s what the carrier claims. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
