Marilyn Manson is one busy man and one can't help but wondering how come he manages to balance his personal life with his professional career. Then again, they do say that art is the best way to chase away sadness and that the works of a good artist become perfect when s/he's depressed.

In the rocker's case, things in his personal life are not even half rosy. After one year of being married to sexy burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese (and other seven of dating her), she filed for divorce among speculations that he double cheated on her: once with much younger actress Evan Rachel Wood (19 years) and then with a much older 'friend' of his, booze.

Dita filed for divorce a long time ago, citing as cause the inevitable 'irreconcilable differences'. However, sources told celebrity agency TMZ that she was unhappy with their marriage because he was always absent, partying with his boys, and when he was at home, he wouldn't even bother to speak to her. For a week or so, she tried to serve him with divorce papers but she couldn't find him, because he had left home without even telling her.

Finally, she found him in the recording studio. Now, the rocker counter-filed and is refusing to pay her any spousal support. Also, sources close to him claim that the relationship to Wood is nothing but the perfect example that he is going through a midlife crisis. 'It's like he's having a midlife crisis. He's with a younger version of Dita. Has her hair and makeup done like Dita.', the spies told 'People' magazine.

Crisis or no crisis, we are happy to learn that, despite all this, Marilyn still found the time to go back in the studio and lay down some tracks for a new album. As he announced on his official website, his next material will be called 'Eat Me, Drink Me', a direct reference to the story 'Alice in Wonderland', most likely prompted by the fact that Manson is now shooting for his own movie 'Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll'.

Although no exact date of release was given, that much is known: 'Eat Me, Drink Me' will be released this spring and Marilyn will also kick off an international tour to coincide with it.
