Here's a fun (or maybe not-so-fun, depending on how you want to look at things) fact: there's a church in the Czech Republic whose walls, ceilings and fixtures are covered in bones.

What's more, the bones aren't just piled up on top of one another, but arranged in surprisingly eye-pleasing decorative patterns.

Folks who have somehow managed to get over the initial shock and took the time to count how many human remains this building houses say that the bones found inside the church come from about 40,000-70,000 people.

Hence the fact that the building is known as the Cemetery Church of All Saints, Viral Nova explains.

In case anyone was wondering (and I'm fairly sure many of you were), the bones come from a cemetery on top of which the church was erected in the 14th century.

Odds are that the people who built the church decided that the best way to show their respect for the people resting in the cemetery was to include their remains in the building's design.
