Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA is among those operators expected to make the new, unannounced BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone available for purchase on its airwaves in the near future, and a possible release date for the device has just emerged.

It appears that the new BlackBerry Bold 9780 is set to make an appearance on T-Mobile's airwaves come November 17th, as a leaked internal document shows.

The upcoming device was rumored quite a few times before to be on its way to the market before the end of this year, but nothing specific was known on the matter until recently.

As the guys over at TmoNews note in a recent article, the arrival of Bold 9780 at T-Mobile was confirmed by a leaked accessory sheet from September, but it is only now that a solid release date for the device emerges.

Some of the latest reports on this smartphone also suggested that its launch date should be close, and it might not be too long before RIM too decides to make things official.

In the meantime, we'll take the said November 17th launch date for Blackberry Bold 9780 at T-Mobile USA with a grain of salt, though we're hoping that the rumor would pan out.

The Bold 9780 handset should land as the successor of Bold 9700, the popular smartphone RIM launched on the market about a year ago.

The specifications list for the new device includes a 624MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 2.44-inch HVGA+ display (480 x 360 pixels), and a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and auto focus.

The upcoming BlackBerry smartphone should also include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity options, as well as email, messaging and social networking capabilities.

The new handset should sport a similar look with its predecessor, though a series of visual changes should also be included into the mix.
