Mobile phone users in Canada interested in the purchase of a new handset from wireless carrier TELUS now have the possibility to purchase new devices for free as part of a 72-hour sale the company has put in place for them.

Three mobile phones were made available for purchase for free with the signing of a new one-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

On a special page on TELUS's website, users will see the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the Motorola Milestone available for $0.00 as part of the said promotion, as well as the BlackBerry Pearl 8230.

Moreover, the wireless carrier has added the LG Keybo2 – Refurbished to the promotion as well, for those who would like to try out a prepaid deal from the carrier, for only $39.99, with up to $50 activation credit. The deal is available only for new activations, the company notes.

This is not the first time TELUS puts in place the 72-hour sale for its customers, nor the first time these mobile phones are included in the promotion.

The best part of the deal is that the free phones are available with the signing of one-year contracts, though two and three-year deals are available for interested users as well.

“Available online only until July 6, for new clients who activate on a 1, 2 and 3 year term with a Voice and Data rate plan of $50 or greater or on a BlackBerry Social or BlackBerry Email & IM rate plan,” the wireless carrier explains.

“TELUS reserves the right to modify eligible rate plans with this offer at any time without advance notice,” the company continues.

Those Canadians who would like to learn more on the new promotion at TELUS, or would like to purchase one of the handsets should head over to the wireless carrier's website here for that.
