Bobcats might be gifted predators but, as it turns out, they are really lousy thieves. Thus, the bobcat pictured above is not hanging from a set of blinds because it is trying some new and really weird relaxation technique, but because it got tangled in them whilst trying to get out of a home it had broken into.

The incident occurred in the city of Nelson in New Zealand a few days ago, Huffington Post reports.

Leanne Kalabis, who owns the house, says that the bobcat got into the house through a basement door while she was away. Upon her returning home, she found the animal hanging from the blinds and looking quite scared.

“It became pretty entangled in the blinds, as it was thrashing and hissing at my dog,” Leanne Kalabis reportedly told the press.

The woman alerted one of her neighbors, and the latter called in an animal control officer. The officer managed to free the bobcat, and the feline made a quick and smooth getaway through the basement door it came in in the first place.

By the looks of it, nothing other than the bobcat's ego was harmed as a result of this incident.
