No word yet if a network has picked up the project

Bobby Brown’s family has been very chatty with the media since January 31, when Bobbi Kristina Brown, Bobby’s daughter with the late Whitney Houston, was put in a medically induced coma after being found unresponsive face-down in the bathtub of her Georgia home.

The same family has also been making headlines for reasons not related to Krissi’s dire condition, like getting into violent brawls outside hotels and trading insults on social media. As it turns out, they’re shooting a reality show.

The Browns are trying to cash in on the tragedy

Krissi is still in a coma, and according to the most somber reports, she might not survive once she’s taken out of the coma and / or off life support. She’s been deprived of oxygen for anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes and the damage to her brain has been considerable: doctors have already told the family that they have done all they could to save her.

At this point, a recovery for Krissi will be a “miracle,” it is being said.

However, that’s not stopping the Browns from trying to capitalize on the tragedy, by shooting footage for a new reality show around it, TMZ has learned.

Everyone is involved, except for Bobby Brown himself, who is said to be nearly out of his mind with grief. That means that his 2 sisters, brother and their kids are in on it.

However, TMZ doesn’t say whether a network has already picked up the show, or if there’s still a chance this might be shelved, where it will gather dust for eternity.

The Browns have done this before

The same media outlet notes that, as sinister as the decision to shoot a reality show around a young woman’s tragedy might be, it’s not like it’s something new for the Browns: they tried to make money like this before.

“Leolah is the one who went on the record blaming Ray J for Whitney Houston's death, claiming he fatally fueled her cocaine habit,” the e-zine says. “Tina is the one who did a sit-down interview and claimed she did crack with Whitney. Tina and Shayne are also the ones who fought at a hotel near the hospital. She hit her son Shayne with a bottle.”

Most members of the family have been giving exclusive interviews to the media since Krissi’s tragedy, and in their spare time, dished even more details on social media.

The aforementioned publication says that they have not been allowed to shoot at the hospital, but that they do have footage of “family debriefs” at home, where they go into the details of Krissi’s exact condition.

As expected, most people online are shocked that they would scoop this low, at such a difficult time. They’re yet to officially address the rumor of the planned reality show.
