The love story between the two caused some uproar when it was first revealed to the press, shortly after the singer's death, mostly because they'd been like brothers until that moment.
Just recently, they also went public with it by walking the red carpet together, as a couple.
If there's anyone out there who still doesn't know of Nick's feelings for Krissy and the other way around, their respective Twitter feeds are the best place to get acquainted with them.
Also there, Nick shows off the gift he presented Krissy with the other day. As expected, this photo was more than enough to get the tabs speculating on whether a wedding is in the works as well, with many voices saying that chances of that are pretty solid right now.
As far as Nick and Krissy are concerned, if they're planning a wedding they're not talking about it – yet.
“Surprise @REALbkBrown,” Nick wrote in a short tweet accompanying the photo attached to this article.
If explanation was further required, it's of a gorgeous sapphire and diamond ring that Krissy is now wearing on her engagement finger.
“Just a jewelry/gift for the sweetest thing in the world,” Nick added.
“(: urthee best boo ! I loveyou , thank youuu (:(: surprise is right , ilove it!” Krissy wrote back.
Of course, any respectable celebrity gossip lover will know that this is not the first time that word gets out that the two might be rushing into marriage.
Back in March this year, shortly after news that they were dating transpired into the press, reports started pouring in that they were actually engaged, not just dating.
The tabs even had photos of what looked like a giant diamond engagement ring on Krissy's hand, as we also noted at the time.
