Just hours after his alleged fiancée / girlfriend / “adopted sister” Bobbi Kristina Brown completely totaled her Camaro in a horrific crash, Nick Gordon was arrested for reckless driving, it has emerged.

The Daily Mail obtained the police report, together with Nick’s mugshot, which you can also see attached to this article and in which he’s smiling broadly.

Gordon, as fans must know, was informally adopted by Whitney Houston when he was just 12 and raised as a brother to her daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina (Krissi).

The two started dating after the singer’s death and confirmed they were engaged on the family’s reality show, “The Houstons: On Our Own.” In recent weeks, they denied the engagement on Twitter.

Either way, it’s clear that neither is suitable to drive and should, at the very least, consider hiring a driver.

The Mail writes that Gordon was driving at almost twice the legal speed in an area known for its heavy pedestrian traffic. He’s been booked on reckless driving and is supposed to appear next in court in February 2013.

“The danger lies in the fact this is a high vehicular and pedestrian traffic area,” Alpharetta Public Information Officer George Gordon tells the Mail.

“In a situation such as this, the Department has a duty to take reasonable enforcement action to protect the public,” Gordon explains.

“We are fortunate because that's such a busy corridor with high end retail shopping restaurants and pedestrians at crosswalks. At that speed, it's absolutely reckless,” the same Officer says in a separate statement to TMZ.

Gordon was behind the wheel of a Camaro like the one Bobbi Kristina wrecked the other day, going 82mph in a 35mph zone.

As we also informed you yesterday, Bobbi Kristina too has been cited for “failure to maintain lane” after she lost control of her vehicle on a left turn and smashed into an embankment, totaling the car.

Luckily for her, she emerged unscathed from the accident: when police arrived on the scene, she was waiting beside the car, uninjured.
