14 DAY TRIAL // Several reports today claim that Bobby Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s only child, has been taken off life support and that it’s only a matter of time before she passes away, after being in a coma for the last 5 days.
They are not accurate, The Telegraph and TMZ insist, citing sources from inside the facility. As of the time of writing, the 21-year-old aspiring singer is still in the same condition as the other day: she is believed to have diminished brain functions from being deprived of oxygen for anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes, after collapsing face-down in the bathtub on Saturday.
Family has come to say goodbye
Even though the good news is that Bobbi Kristina is still on life support, doctors have lost all hope she would ever wake up from the coma, other reports claim. In fact, they have already informed the family that they’d done everything they could to save her, and that, at this point, whether she makes a recovery is out of their hands.
They’re not optimistic either, as her cousin Jerod Brown, revealed on his social media feed: doctors have told family members that they couldn’t do anything more, so Brown is now leading a campaign on Twitter asking for prayers, since Bobbi Kristina’s life is in God’s hands.
At the same time, reports say that family members have started to come in at the hospital to “say goodbye,” after the chat with the doctors. The same doctors have told Bobby Brown that it’s “time to let her go,” which means he must make a decision as to whether to turn off life support or not.
For the time being, he’s yet to make it.
What happened?
Police are investigating the circumstances in which Bobbi Kristina was found in her Georgia home, by her alleged “husband” Nick Gordon and a male friend. They called 911 and performed CPR on her until the paramedics arrived and revived her.
She was put in a medically induced coma as soon as she arrived at the hospital, and unconfirmed reports say that her condition has barely improved since.
Drugs were found at the home, but not upon the first search, which only looked for signs of drug use “out in the open.” There is some chatter online about how Nick Gordon might have hid the drugs fearing police would justly assume that Bobbi Kristina had OD’ed.
Bobbi Kristina has had a very troubled life, even though she’s still very young, but it was losing her mother 3 years ago that sent her off the edge, it is being said. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t listen to family members who urged her to seek help and stay clean, and found solace in the arms of Gordon, who was raised by Whitney as if he were her son, who may or may not have been her enabler.
Whitney Houston was also found unresponsive in the bathtub: she had OD’ed on a cocktail of drugs, but in her case, it was too late for paramedics to revive her.
