Lifetime is developing quite a knack for biopics, no matter the controversy around them. In fact, the bigger the controversy, the better in terms of ratings. One such project is a Whitney Houston biopic that has Whitney’s good friend Angela Bassett as producer.

Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown (aka Krissi), got so furious when she found out that some unknown had been cast as the young Whitney when she was open and willing, that she took to Twitter to bash Bassett in the most foul (and public) manner possible.

Among other things, she said she was a tranny, which, you will admit, bore no relevance to the topic at hand.

On her part, Angela kept her cool and said that, while it was regretful that she could not get the Houston family on board the project (including Krissi, we assume), she would still make the movie. As for casting Whitney’s daughter to play the young version of her late mother, that was never even considered for a very simple reason: Krissi may have done reality television, but she is no actress.

This might hurt, but it’s actually the truth. If Bassett is truly looking to do honor to her late friend’s achievements and not just bank on her name, she will want people with experience and proven skill. As of now, Bobbi Kristina has neither.

If you thought this feud was over, it’s not. Krissi is reigniting it on Twitter by offering an apology for the nasty things she said about Angela – or, better said, by tweeting and pretending to apologize.

“I’m a young women that can admit her wrongs. 4who was offended I apologize BUT understand me before your quick to judge though. ThankU” she writes.

Let’s parse: she said nothing wrong but, if you were offended, she apologizes. She’s proud for being able to admit her wrongs, but she won’t say what these are. This is classic celebrity non-apology apology.

That aside, she promises she will live out her life in such a way as to honor her mother and make her proud.

“I will celebrate your life , I will celebrate you, I will carry you on, I will make you proud, I will love & cherish you mylady. No matter what, I will continue to stand my ground as a young women. One thing you CAN depend on is My mother taught me well,” Krissi continues.

How many of you are bothered right now that she doesn’t know how to spell “woman”?
