The American legend is currently preparing for the release of his first album of new materials in almost five years of relative silence.
'Modern Times' will include 10 brand new tracks, including 'When the Deal Goes Down', 'Thunder On the Mountain', 'Spirit On the Water', with Bob playing harmonica, guitar and keyboard to accompany his singing.
The Chairman from Columbia Records issued a press statement in which he included this current album in a trilogy that started in 1997, with 'Time Out of Mind' and continued in 2001, with 'Love and Theft', both Grammy-awarded and internationally acclaimed.
He also stated that a new release from such an artist as Bob Dylan may be easily considered a crucial event in the history of music, as he is one of the most talented and contemporary singers on the scene. He has managed to defy all tendencies and to grow with them, a thing that makes him still appreciated and loved after more than 40 years on the music stage. 'This is a staggering record by any standards', the Chairman added.
