With more than 1 million downloads on Google Play Store, Boat Browser is starting to look pretty promising. It looks like developers made important improvements to the application and added lots of new features and enhancements.

The latest version of Boat Browser comes with support for gestures. Obviously, those who are not into gestures thingy can disable this feature from the Settings page.

It is also worth mentioning developers promise they will add a new capability in the next version of the browser, which will allow users to create their own gestures.

The last update uploaded on Google Play adds an online User Guide for Boat Browser users, which can be accessed by going to Menu / scroll to 3rd screen / Help icon. Several bugs fix and performance optimization have been included in the update as well.

Boat Browser 5.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
