The video at the top offers insight into ‘Where’s Bo Peep?’ the project that won the second place in the UIST Student Innovation Contest in the Most Useful category.

The Wellesley College, Mass. team essentially managed to turn the Microsoft Touch Mouse in a sheep, and use it in a very creative way.

After all, the object of the UIST Student Innovation Contest was to see the kind of innovation that students could built on top of the Touch Mouse.

A number of very interesting projects were submitted, and users can see all of the winners via this link.

Just as the other contestants, the Wellesley College team received a custom Touch Mouse as well as exclusive access to the Touch Mouse application programming interface (API), which they got to use in order to take the peripheral to the next level.
