A maintenance release with a lot of new features!

Atilla Craciun, lead developer of Bluewhite 64, announced yesterday the availability of the Bluewhite64 12.0-Live-DVD-r1 edition. This is a maintenance release for the Bluewhite64 12.0 stable LiveDVD version.

A large number of packages have been updated and new features made their way into this release. The latest stable version of the Linux kernel - 2.6.24 - is now included. KDE 3.5.8 with support for 65 different languages, Mplayer 1.0rc2, ALICE (Advanced Linux Installation and Configuration Environment) with six GUI managers - diskmanager, netmanager, pkgmanager, servmanager, timemanager, xorgmanager - are only a few of the new features in the 12.0 Live DVD r1 release. The only package removed was kplayer.
