Mobile phone users in Taiwan interested in the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy J smartphone can now grab the device in a brand-new color version, namely blue.

The handset, made public in the country last year with elements borrowed from both Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, was available only in Red and White flavors until today, as GSMInsider notes.

However, Samsung has decided to expand the available options for its customers, and the new Blue version can already be seen listed on the company’s website in this country.

The phone can be seen there with model number SGH-N075T attached to it, packing all the features and capabilities the other variants were released with.

Featuring support for 4G LTE networks, Samsung Galaxy J comes to the market with the looks of Galaxy S4 but packs the hardware specifications that Galaxy Note 3 was launched with in September last year.

Thus, those who will purchase it will enjoy a 5-inch Super AMOLED display that can deliver a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, as well as a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor inside it.

Moreover, the mobile phone has been announced with Adreno 330 graphics, as well as with 3GB of RAM inside, and also includes 16GB of internal memory, with a microSD memory card slot to provide users with storage expansion capabilities.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy J features a 13-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, capable of recording videos in Ultra HD (4K) resolution. Moreover, it sports a 2MP camera on the front, so as to enable users to make video calls while on the go.

In addition to the aforementioned 4G LTE connectivity, the handset also sports HSPA+ 42.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, capabilities, along with USB port, MHL, IR LED, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It includes a built-in GPS receiver with GLONASS as well.

The Samsung Galaxy J comes with a 2600mAh packed inside, similar to the one available on Galaxy S4, though capable of offering pretty decent usage times.

On the downside, the smartphone is still running under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, though the upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat should arrive on it in the not too distant future.

Samsung also included a variety of exclusive applications and features on this device, such as Samsung Hub, Samsung Apps, Samsung Link, WatchON, and others. Galaxy J measures 137 x 70 x 8.6 mm and weighs 138 grams.
