Blue Dream

The VIP on our list today is the famous singer Beyonce Knowles. Why? You can figure that out just by looking at the picture I have for you. The beautiful singer turned actress turned fashion designer (remember House of Dereon?) appeared at the Dreamgirls' premiere looking…well…like that.

Indeed a ravishing image if I may say so…I don't believe I have ever seen her dressed like that. Let's take a closer look.

Well, it's all baby blue, from head to toe. Actually, to toe might be overstated because I cannot see her feet because of the dress' length. But in rest, I'm right, it is baby blue all the way.

Simple hairdo but special make up and special earrings. Miss Knowles was apparently determined to shine and her bling-bling is just lovely, completing the glamour effect. The same glitter can be seen on the cute little bag, but in a golden combined with silver stones design. Smashing glow, don't you think?

Of course, baby blue eye shadow, black liquid eye liner and plenty of mascara created the most long eye lashes and brought a little bit of royalty. It does look like a princess' dress: with a long trail, a lot of veil ruffles falling like weaves around her body, a big blue bow to complement it all and voila: this is probably the dress you girls dreamt of when you were growing up and hearing all those fairy tales. Looking at Beyonce, you might think it's all a dream but no, it is very real.

I do believe though that she dressed like royalty to show that she is, indisputably, the princess of the Dreamgirls. And that dress, designed by Elie Saab, made her look exactly like she (Knowles) wanted to look.

There's something though that I have to mention here. A weird lump was seen on the singer's right breast that just might hint to a possible cosmetic surgery, even though she has never admitted of having it ever done. Mhm ... kinda' strange if you ask me.

Should we be surprised of the success of Beyonce's style? I believe not as she is considered as not having a single bad clothes day since she was 15. How does she pull it off, you may ask. The singer declared that she never subjects herself to the eye of the camera without being first thoroughly examined by her personal stylists. She says: "I have a team and we've been working together since I was 15, so every show, every earring, every shade of eye shadow is all something that comes from me and my team."

"I'm very much a perfectionist, and even before I was a pop star, or celebrity or whatever you want to call whatever I am, I was always that way. Always!"

I feel obliged to pay my respects to her personal stylists for their every day work and to Elie Saab for this dress. Oh, let's not forget Beyonce for wearing it and of course, for the attitude 'cause we all know that most of the times, attitude is everything.
