Smartphones that pack 5-inch screens are no longer reserved to the high end of the market, and Blu Products’ new Life One M confirms that, with a price tag of only $199 (€146) attached to it.

The handset will land on shelves with a 720p screen, a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor inside, and 1GB of RAM, which means that it will deliver quite decent performance capabilities.

Moreover, Blu decided to pack it with 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a Li-Ion 2000mAh battery, PhoneArena reports.

On the back, the new device sports a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording, paired with a 2MP front camera for video calling.

Blu Life One M measures 144 x 74 x 9 mm, weighs 144 grams, and runs under the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system right from the start.
