Bloody Roar Cheats and Hints (PSX)

BLOODY ROAR pits eight fighters with unique "Spirit Animals" against each other. Don’t just beat your opponents; pummel them into the ground by using combo after combo, or transforming into the character’s "Spirit Animal," which might be a killer rabbit, gorilla, fox, or something else, entirely. See the moment of victory with instant replays that show the blow that puts the loser down for good.

Every fighter is involved in the tournament for his or her own reasons, and you can play as each of the characters to learn those reasons. With all of the action in BLOODY ROAR, the beast in you just might come out.

CHEATS

Big head mode:
Select normal mode. Highlight a fighter on the character selection screen. Then, hold L2 and press X.

Big head with alternate costume:
Select normal mode. Highlight a fighter on the character selection screen. Then, hold L2 and press Circle.

Small fighter:
Highlight a fighter on the character selection screen. Then, hold R2 and press X.

Small fighter with alternate costume:
Highlight a fighter on the character selection screen. Then, hold R2 and press Circle.

Large arms:
Hold L1 + L2 and select a character. Alternatively, Complete the game on level 4 or higher without using any continues.

Quick next match:
Have player one quickly press L1 immediately after the final round ends in versus mode. The next match will start without characters having to be re-selected.

Big stage:
Select survival mode and defeat ten consecutive opponents.

Small stage:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Greg.

No walls in ring:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Mitsuko.

Invisible walls:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Fox.

Regenerating energy:
Select Bakuryu as a fighter and complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher.

No energy bars:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Yugo.

Control camera:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Alice.

Psychedelic mode:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using all the characters.

Disable character lighting:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Long.

No guard mode:
Complete the game on difficulty level 4 or higher using Gado.

Shadow mode:
Complete the game using all characters. A shadow will appear behind your character when this mode is enabled.

Alternate Alice costume:
Select time attack mode. Defeat all opponents in under ten minutes. Alice will appear in a school girl uniform.

Additional replay views:
Hold Select during the winning hit to your opponent for additional replay views.

Bonus graphics:
Complete the game in arcade mode to view the corresponding character's ending. Press Left or Right to view different scenes.

Soundtrack:
Place the game disc in an audio CD player and play track two to hear music from the game.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Shenlong: Instant kill:
Press Down + Circle, Down + Square, X, Forward + Square, Down + X, Forward + Square, Beast Drive for an instant kill.
