The development team at From Software and publisher Sony have announced that they are planning to launch Bloodborne in Japan on February 5, and now they are also delivering a new Tokyo Game Show 2014 trailer for the title which is designed to give potential buyers an overview of the core mechanics and the atmosphere.

There’s nothing entirely new for fans of the game to see here, although the footage does give a glimpse at a few new enemy designs, but it’s easy to see how the two companies are aiming to capture the imagination of those who are seeking to buy the game.

Bloodborne is an action title which will focus on both close quarters and ranged combat and will employ a new Regain system which allows gamers to become more aggressive during combat and get back health if they manage to strike quickly.

The experience will also offer a wider variety of weapons to use and innovative enemies to battle against.

From Software says that the game will use the spirit of the previous Dark Souls releases, but it will establish an entirely new storyline with a lot of lore for players to absorb.

It’s unclear when Sony plans to launch Bloodborne on the PlayStation 4 in North America and in Europe.
