Bloodborne is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 before the end of the month, and it seems that there are still a lot of details about the video game that the development team at From Software and publisher Sony have not shared with at least some players.

On the official Japanese site of the title, the two companies have delivered a few new screenshots taken from the experience and are offering details on how the multiplayer experience will work for both cooperative and Player versus Player.

A Lulling Bell item is designed for the host to use in order to summon other players to their session, with up to three gamers able to work together to take out one capable enemy, of which there are plenty in Bloodborne.

A Small Resonant Bell will be used to answer that summons and the host will have options to password a session, which will provide both guests with a reward, although it's unclear whether it will be randomly generated or if each boss will have a unique one.

In PvP modes, Bloodborne fans will need to use an Ominous Resonant Bell, according to DualShockers, and a Bell Maiden could also be used to attract an attack, with a Parting Shot object apparently able to close down a session.

Player messages will play a big role in the coming From Software experience

A lot of players made heavy use of the messaging feature in the Dark Souls series and it will also play a big role in Bloodborne.

The official site explains that memories will be transactioned between gamers and that tombstones will be used to store them.

From Software is also saying that it is planning to deliver a day one patch for Bloodborne, although there's no info on what elements of the game it will tweak.

The new title created by From Software is designed to expand the appeal of the genre defined by Dark Souls while keeping the same level of challenge.

From Software says that it will include a variety of powerful bosses in Bloodborne and that they are changing elements of the combat system in order to make players able to attack at range with firearms and will reward those gamers who are ready to stay on the offensive with some bonus health.
