After quite a few rumors and its debut earlier this week in Japan, Bloodborne patch 1.04 is finally available for download in Europe and North America on the PS4 platform. A changelog for the major update has also been revealed officially, alongside the announcement of a ShareFactory theme that's set to appear on June 2.

Bloodborne delighted millions of fans when it appeared earlier this spring on the PS4 platform, as plenty of people jumped right into the challenging role-playing experience made by From Software and published by Sony.

Since then, the two companies have worked hard on different updates and tweaks to the title, in order to avoid any exploits and issues that can disrupt the experience of some people.

Patch 1.04 is finally available worldwide

After having appeared in Japan earlier this week, update 1.04 for Bloodborne is finally available for download worldwide. This means that owners of the RPG on PS4 in Europe or North America can begin transferring the long-awaited patch.

The official changelog, shared via PS blog, confirms a suite of enhancements designed to not only improve interaction with the Insight Shop but also promote a more balanced experience.

As such, enemy strength in several New Game+ areas has been adjusted, alongside their resistance to arcane or bolt attacks. Beasthood is easier to increase in order to attain stronger attacks for a longer period of time.

Chalice dungeons have also been modified slightly by the new Bloodborne patch so that boss encounters offer random loot drops, including blood gemstones.

A few bugs relating to the brightness of the screen when acquiring Blood Echoes and other situations have also been resolved. In particular, multiplayer errors resulting from the PS4's standby mode or from guest screen are also fixed, so fans shouldn't worry about them.

Last but not least, Sony confirms that next week, on June 2, it's going to release a free ShareFactory Bloodborne theme, so that PS4 owners can easily create and customize their gameplay videos made in the popular RPG.

Until then, download patch 1.04 and check out the changelog right now.
