Select PS4 owners have started receiving invitations into the Bloodborne alpha test phase and those who have yet to register can still manifest their interest in trying out the impressive-looking RPG.

From Software has made a name for itself with the brutal Demon's Souls as well as the Dark Souls titles, delivering challenging role-playing experiences that rewarded nothing short of perfection. The games have delighted millions of fans and now the studio is working hard on a joint project with Sony, in the form of Bloodborne. After impressive showings at both E3 2014 and Gamescom 2014, the two studios are working hard on the RPG and have kicked off an alpha test phase on the PS4.

Select PS4 owners are already confirming that they've received invitations into the trial, via AGB, as Sony is already sending out emails.

Those that want a chance to try out the upcoming RPG can still manifest their interest by logging into the official website and confirming their desire to try out Bloodborne. They can do that until September 23, so act fast.

Bloodborne has received a release date for Japan, of February 5, and the developers have made it clear that launch dates for other territories, like Europe or North America, haven't been nailed down.
