With Bloodborne set to be launched before the end of the month, developer From Software and publisher Sony are ready to offer a deeper look at the title and its unique mechanics, with a new interactive trailer designed to offer more details about the Yharnam location and the core mechanics of the title.

Gamers will need to go to the official site in order to access the new feature associated with the game, and once they do so, they will be able to move through a number of pre-determined moments, with some new footage featured in order to show gamers details about locations and the way some mechanics will help players confront their enemies.

The Bloodborne interactive trailer starts off in central Yharnam and From Software emphasizes the importance of exploring all areas in order to learn their secrets and the fact that boxes and crates need to be destroyed to secure access to secret passages and to get more items.

A Wolf Beast enemy type is shown, which is designed to be fast and erratic in their movement, making them hard to take out.

Gamers will also be able to take out enemies using rocks in Bloodborne, and From Software adds, "Rocks don't do much damage, but they are great for getting the attention of a single enemy and peeling them away from a group or otherwise dangerous area. Lock on to an enemy (R3) and throw a rock to lure them towards you."

Bloodborne is a new take on some classic mechanics

The new title designed by From Software is designed to use some of the features that have impressed in the Dark Souls series, while also introducing concepts that can make them appealing to a larger group of players.

For the first time, the protagonist will be able to attack at range with firearms, which gives him more options against groups of enemies.

The combat system has also been recreated in order to make sure that players who remain offensive and try to take out their opponents fast will be rewarded with more health, even if they get hit in the process.

Bloodborne will be out on the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony on March 24 in the United States, one day later in Europe, and on March 26 in Japan.
