A brand new gameplay video from From Software's upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive action-adventure game Bloodborne made its way to the Internet, showing us a little more blood-drenched action.

The video comes from Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong and also delivers a bunch of information on the game's controls and some of the gameplay mechanics in Bloodborne.

Of course, the main star of the show is, as always, the superb artistic direction, but the creepy and engrossing visuals capturing our minds aren't alone in this. The music used for the trailer is genuinely awesome, very fitting and adding an overlay of suspense and dread on top of everything.

The video contains a bunch of walking around, dodging enemy attacks, and shows how to effectively take on groups of mobs and how to deal with more difficult enemies.

The gameplay trailer shows the protagonist making use of a variety of weapons and highlights how the control scheme works, emphasizing the different ways you have to engage enemies based on what you're currently equipped with.

An atmospheric and intriguing game

The game is very similar to From Software's previous creations, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but also features some significant gameplay alterations.

The foreboding mood and cryptic story of the company's former titles are maintained, but combat is much faster and requires gamers to take on denser packs of enemies.

The game has a sort of steampunk flavor and is set in the Victorian London-like city of Yharnam. The protagonist travels to the city in search of a fabled universal cure, only to find out that the place is cursed and overrun with deranged inhabitants.

Bloodborne is coming to North America on March 24, Europe on March 25, and Japan on March 26, exclusively on the PlayStation 4 home entertainment system from Sony.
