Bloodborne received a February 5 release date during Sony's Tokyo Games Show 2014 live stream, but the game's developer has now made it clear that it's only for the Japan territory, and that launch periods for Europe or North America have yet to be decided.
Bloodborne is one the most anticipated PS4 exclusives that's set to appear in the following months, as many Sony console owners are looking forward to going through this spiritual successor to Demon's Souls.
The game received some stellar gameplay videos and screenshots in recent months, but earlier this week it got the biggest announcement of them all, in the form of a release date of February 5.
The confirmation came from Sony during its TGS 2014 press conference, but now the official Bloodborne Twitter has highlighted that the February 5 release date is only for the Japanese market.
As of right now, it seems that launch periods for other territories, like Europe or North America, haven't been nailed down, so fans shouldn't expect a global debut of the PS4 exclusive right at the beginning of February next year.
Look forward to learning more about Bloodborne, include global release dates, in the following months, as we get closer to the end of 2014.
We're happy to announce Bloodborne's Japan release date. Look forward to release dates for other countries when they've been decided.
