Video game developer Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive have announced that they are set to launch a new version of the Blood Bowl title, based on the Games Workshop-made board game, called Chaos Edition, during September of this year.

The new version of the title will include 3 new races for gamers to create their teams around, meaning that there are now 23 full factions to choose from.

The Orcs, Elves, Humans, Vampires, Ogres, Dwarves are now joined by the Chaos Dawrves, the denizens of the Underworld and the Demons of Khorne.

The game also gets a new stadium, a joint venture between the Amazons and the Lizardmen, created right in the middle of their tropical jungle realm.

The development team at Cyanide is also adding a new game mode, World Championship, to Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition, which will expand the range of experiences offered to gamers. There are also more options added to the multiplayer side of the game.
