Sizzling hot movie star Hillary Duff and her pet dog Lola will feature in the fourth expansion pack of the Sims 2 series, Pets for GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2 and DS. PC Sims 2 Pets players will have to buy the game before December 31 and then download miss Duff's character as an add-on. The launch date for The Sims 2 Pets has been for October 20 in Europe, but at that date the game will be available only on PlayStation 2, GameCube and PC. The release dates for the DS, PSP and GBA were not revealed.

The Hollywood blond declares herself as being a Sims 2 enthusiast and she brags that she spent hundred of hours playing the game (maybe she should practice to improve her acting skills). Being a blond, miss Duff emphasized that she enjoys blinging out the character's houses with cool furniture. She is delighted with EA combining two things that she declared she enjoys best- The Sims and pets.

Maybe after this important marketing move by EA, little girls all over the world will want to become video game characters and will not dream anymore of Hollywood's glamour.

In Sims 2 Pets, characters will be able to own a large range of pets like cats, dogs, birds and tropical fish. The game's developers have put a lot of work into the game creating may features to customize pets. The most intriguing thing about the game is that the soundtrack, which features The Pussycat Dolls big hit "Don't Cha", has been record in Simlish, the native language of the Sims.
