Google is building Google+ into more of its products. The venerable Blogger is getting a social infusion with a new Google+ integration feature, users that have linked their blogs to their Google+ profiles will have the option of sharing anything they post to Google+ as well.

"Back in October we made it possible for Blogger in Draft users to use their Google+ profile on their blog. This option is now available to all Blogger users, and as a result, we're starting to roll out the first of many Google+ features," Bruce Polderman, product manager at Blogger, wrote.

"Starting today, if you have linked your blog to your Google+ account you will be presented with a prefilled Google+ share box immediately after publishing a post," he explained.

Last month, Blogger started enabling users to link their profiles to their Google+ ones. This completely replaced the old profile. The move made sense though since Google wants a unified social platform and it's going to be based on Google+.

Now, those that have done so will see a "Share on Google+" box after publishing any post, prefilled with a snippet of text from the post, a link, an image if there is one and so on.

For those that actively use both platforms, it cuts down on some time and it also makes it more likely for them to post the things they wrote on Google+ as well.

Presumably, most bloggers that have an active Google+ profile will want to do this. However, there may be times when this may not be the best idea and some people may want to keep things separate.

Fortunately, the feature can be disabled, just go to the "Settings > Posts and Comments" section of the Blogger dashboard and you'll see the appropriate setting. Even if you disable the default sharing option, you can still share individual posts via the "Share" button.
