World of Warcraft is a huge phenomenon, as the MMORPG is the biggest in the whole world, boasting over 11 million paying subscribers each month. This dedicated fan base is extremely interested in all things related to the game, which made the developer, Blizzard, very careful with what it releases in regard to the prestigious title.

But as you all know, BlizzCon will start today and end tomorrow, and it will contain the latest news regarding the extremely popular company, straight from its representatives. One of the announcements made by the corporation right before the start of the conference is that it will partner with Future, a leading game media publisher and owner of many traditional magazines, in order to publish World of Warcraft: The Magazine.

That's right, this will be the official magazine for the hugely popular game and one of the few to be dedicated to a single title. It will debut today at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California, covering all of the aspects regarding the hugely popular game. It will also be launched in English, French, German and Spanish, which will make it ready to register huge amounts of subscriptions all around the world.

Speaking of subscriptions, the mag will be delivered only based on them, as there are currently two offers from Blizzard and Future: you can subscribe for one year, and pay $39.95 in the US and 34.95 EUR or 29.95 GBP in Europe, or two years, and pay just $69.95 in the US, 61.25 EUR or 52.50 GBP.

All this money will get you the quarterly publication, which will be packed with in-depth articles regarding the popular game and insights from players and the developers themselves. Expect to find out new things straight from the pages of the magazine itself.

The first issue, which will be released today, will celebrate the fifth anniversary of WoW and host a special feature about the development of the title over the years. It will also contain tactics guides from top guild leaders for Ulduar and help less experienced players master some great strategies. All of the 148 pages will be packed with articles and artwork that will be appreciated by any WoW player.

Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment, said, “Future produces some of the most respected gaming magazines in the industry, and we’re pleased to be working closely with them to make World of Warcraft: The Magazine a true standout product. Together, we look forward to offering World of Warcraft players a great mix of entertaining and insightful content in every issue.”
