Video game developer Blizzard seems to be unhappy with its new Titan MMO project and is rebooting the entire game creation process, with a reduced team now working on the core ideas of the title.

VentureBeat first reported the information and a source from Blizzard is confirming the changes for Gamasutra.

The launch of Titan was expected for 2014, but the problems affecting development mean that the game will only be offered in 2016, according to Blizzard.

At one point, the team for Titan was made up of about 100 people, including many of those who handled the very successful World of Warcraft.

At the moment, only around 30 people are working on the new MMO and official information about it will probably not be offered in 2013.

Blizzard is expected to launch a new expansion for World of Warcraft in 2014.
