Although Blizzard didn't comment on last week's announcement made by Shawn Crane, who said that the company is working on a World Of Warcraft expansion pack, it seems that the product will be shown to the millions of fans at Blizzcon. Or at least some details about it.

The information appeared as a post on the World of Warcraft official forum,
called World of Warcraft Battleplan 2 and it was signed by Shane Dabiri, Lead Producer.

Although the message is focused on the new features, at some point Sahne Dabiri does say that: "To those of you who won't be able to make it to the show, please keep an eye out for the game magazines that will be hitting newsstands right around BlizzCon, because some of them will feature in-depth articles on the expansion with plenty of information about how World of Warcraft will be evolving."

This is actually the only comment, others details not being officially disclosed yet.

The rest of the message talks about the changes prepared by Blizzard for the new 1.7. patch. The whole document is available here.
